Big One Edition is an independent publishing house specialising in exceptional art prints, produced through medium and very large-format screen printing.

It develops a demanding artistic vision at the intersection of contemporary illustration, graphic culture and the art object. Each project is conceived as a complete work in its own right, where the choice of artists, formats and printing processes serves a strong and coherent intention.

The distinctiveness of Big One Edition lies in the conception, production and distribution of unconventional screen prints, particularly in very large formats (up to 1200 × 1750 mm). This rare expertise allows for the enhancement of line work, textures and contrasts, while constantly pushing the technical boundaries of printmaking. Driven by a strong commitment to experimentation, the studio explores a wide range of substrates and processes: extremely limited editions, specialised materials, fluorescent, phosphorescent, relief, metallic, scratch-off, scented, mirror inks, or inks revealed under black light—offering archival quality far beyond standard printing methods.

Big One Edition favours a collaborative approach, closely involving artists in hands-on work on the presses. Each production is unique, the result of an ongoing dialogue between the artists and the workshop team. Prints are produced with exceptional technical precision on carefully selected papers, ranging from mass-dyed papers to 100% cotton stocks up to 700 gsm.

The studio’s colour expertise spans from standard tones to fluorescent, metallic and chrome inks, as well as specialised inks such as thermal, thermochromic, UV, invisible and scratch-off inks. Particular attention is given to metallic colours—gold, silver and chrome—whose use, whether as flat fields or embedded elements, adds a distinctive sensory dimension and a unique “print temperature”.
